Manager, Community and Industry Engagement

  • $118,908 - $159,124 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed term – 3 years
  • Usual Work Hours: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: Attwood (flexibility may be available)

The position of Manager, Community and Industry Engagement will sit within the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR).

The Manager, Community and Industry Engagement leads stakeholder engagement and communications across the Biosecurity and Agriculture Services function in Agriculture Victoria, including the provision of high quality and responsive information for stakeholders. The position provides expert advice and recommendations to the Director, Business Strategy and Services on stakeholder engagement matters, to influence organisational strategy, decisions and initiatives. As the leader of a team of engagement and communications specialists, this role establishes a customer service relationship with senior managers across the Biosecurity and Agriculture Services function and develops approaches to engagement and communication that support the achievement of business outcomes. 

The position also liaises and collaborates across the Department to achieve coordinated approaches to community and industry engagement and communications, and in response to the identified strategic directions, priorities and needs. 

The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements and undertake a wide variety of work across the division.
