Right now we're looking for a Health Education and Social Coordinator to join our Residential Care team.

About the role

This is your chance to ensure high quality, evidence-based health education, social and fitness groups are available and delivered across Southern Cross Care’s health and wellness services. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team which is responsible for building health literacy programs. By supporting customers to engage in wellness services this role will help to empower them to develop skills to remain independent, confident and engaged in home and community life.

About you

The successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification in Health Promotion, Health Science, Leadership or Project Management. With experience in health literacy, health education programs, customer service, social engagement, service planning and implementation and event coordination, this is a great opportunity if you are passionate about promoting wellness.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating monthly health education sessions, social outings and events that provide opportunities for social engagement.

**All Southern Cross Care employees are required to hold a current Police Certificate for the purpose of employment in Aged Care
