By expanding our current Aboriginal Home Care business, we will seek to provide holistic and culturally appropriate services that empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to thrive and to create a positive social impact for their communities.

Critical to the success of this business will be the Executive Assistant (Indigenous Identified). You will be providing one on one support to the Executive General Manager and will also be the ‘go to’ person for the broader leadership team. This role will see you work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and key members of our Aboriginal Home Care business to assist in building and implementing a vision and strategy that will develop the business as a leading provider of health and community services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

This is an integral role that demands exceptional time management and organisational skills, high maintenance of confidentiality, the ability to work autonomously and a proactive and flexible attitude. You will oversee a diverse range of support functions across a complex business along with building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. You will also work closely with the Executive General Manager and the Aboriginal Home Care leadership team to ensure that the business functions efficiently whilst being highly organised, prepared and aware.

To be Successful in this role you will be an experienced EA professional with exceptional communication and organisational skills at a leadership level, A warm, professional and personal approach and the proven ability to collaborate, partner and build effective and professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, Proven capability to lead by example, provide direction and influence in a collegial manner, Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), Demonstrated initiative in completing tasks to tight deadlines and the flexibility to handle constantly changing priorities and unexpected demands.
