What you'll be doing
This position completes intake, scheduling, data collection and administrative duties within ACC&R. The staff member will carry out intake for multiple ACC&R teams. This involves applying eligibility criteria and directing referrals to the correct team within SLHD.
Scheduling processes involve communicating with clients/carers/referrers regarding the various teams’ eligibility and availability.
The role will manage communication via email/phone with two external providers for all teams involved in the TACP Plus brokered services contract. Staff will enter data on client services into spreadsheets and compile reports to enable the contract manager to work with the providers and ensure that KPI’s are being met.
Staff will ensure paperwork taken by assessors on visits is printed in a timely manner to enable those visits to be completed effectively.

Selection Criteria

  • Understanding of and/or experience in the health and aged care service sectors.
  • Previous experience in waitlist management and booking systems.
  • Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in word processing and formatting using computer programs and software applications such as Microsoft Excel, MS Word, Email, and internet (the preferred application is the Microsoft suite however experience with other applications is considered relevant).
  • Good organizational, time management, and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Current NSW Driver's licence (P2 acceptable).
